dragging player tokens between maps

For some reason I thought you could drag player tokens from map to map.  Is this not a thing?

I'm not sure about dragging.  I do know copy and paste works.

If I have it right, you drag players  from map to map (using the "Players" red ribbon, or dragging the players one-by-one, especially if you're splitting the party). To move character tokens  from map to map, Mike is right -- copy and paste (you can use Shift or Ctrl/Cmd to copy multiple tokens) works.  As well, you can drag each character from the sheet area (right hand side) onto your map.

When you say dragging the players one by one what do you mean?

To drag a player to a specific map, rather than the whole group, go down to the strip of Player Display Names and click&drag the name of the player you wish to move to the new map. You'll still need to move any character tokens to the new map as well, but only that player will have vision on that page. Hope that helps, happy gaming!
