Simon (Syvil) alluded to legal issues surrounding the use of this site and I am going to expand upon them here. 1) Maladon, Mystbound Realms, any lore, ebooks, stories, maps, graphics and characters that I hand out or release are my intellectual property and I hereby assert my rights as their author. You are free to use them for personal reasons but all Commercial Use of this material is prohibited unless you get my permission in writing. I may very well grant such use, if you ask nicely, but that I'll decide on a case by case basis. Why is this important you might ask; because The Maladon Campaign and/or Mystbound Realms are probably going to end up as a digital publication as a Campaign Setting for D&D 5e at some point? I also might sell and market them via Roll20 marketplace, though note that this will include only my own materials and not those of others or those created by players. I may want to use some of our sessions in marketing, though that is not very likely; and in that case I will seek permission (see below). 2) By becoming a member of the Maladon Community, you are tacitly consenting to being recorded and streamed via Twitch TV and possibly also Youtube. You are also consenting to myself and Simon Iversen keeping copies of these recordings for personal use in perpetuity. These materials will not be used for commercial purposes without gaining permission from all participants; but note that if you fail to maintain an active Roll20 account, then you are hereby granting me blanket permission to use any recordings involving you and your characters for commerical purposes unless you write to me and opt out of this within 21 days of joining this community. I am enforcing this stricture for the simple reason that if I can't contact you then I can't ask you for permission in future; and I don't want to keep and maintain a list of real life contact information for all players. Roll20 is therefore my only option. In reality, I think the chances of any of this being a problem are negligible but thinking ahead never hurts.
