The game begins as the tribe is traveling south from the mountains into the valley, towards warmer weather and abundant fish and game. Main tribe camp is set at the base of the mountains where it meets the forest. You are a member of a scouting party that is a couple days ahead, ensuring no dangers are ahead that would endanger your tribe. Deep in the valley forest, you are surrounded by trees with moss and mushrooms growing in the bark. The ground is littered with old branches, overgrown grasses, bushes, and leaves. Light is filtered through the tree tops and a canopy of interlocking vegetation overhead. A stream to the south of you rushes over rocks and old logs, winter snow melt flowing east from the tall mountains to your north and east that stretch into the clouds. You know all members of the gaming group and are traveling together as the scouting party. The game will start in a camp you all setup.
