Season 3 Episode 07 - Flood of Benevolence After reuniting with the Droaam Navy,  the team takes some time to assess the loot they picked up (see below) and debrief with Heron. Turns out while the team was hunkered down in the river tunnel, Heron took initiative and bombed Super Thursday.  Everything was going ell until a flight of 20+ wyvern - riding vampires dropped onto the lead carrier and swarmed inside leading to the ship wrecking into one of the auxiliary buildings within the Inner Fortress compound.   Many orcs on both sides as well as many civilians were casualties in the debacle.   Heron pulled back once the wyverns began a second wave of attack on the next carrier in range... too much concentrated Evil to take on like that. Further conversation with Heron: he confirms his fleet had initially delivered Bloody Poodle to the Demon Wastes from Droaam-- she had taken over the Admiral and his officers during the trip across the Void before depositing her in Friend Fell.  He knows "dusting" a vampire while submerged in a body of running water will prevent the mist from coalescing for safe travel to the coffin, and alternatively staking a reforming vampire in it's coffin will kill it good too.  If there are other means of killing a vampire, he doesn't know. Menawhile, Mahewa finishes the Hallow ritual to turn the squidship into the First Mobile Temple of Princess Chan. placing a Word of Recall upon the temple, the team sets out to uncork the dammed underground river that feeds from Varias's back yard down to Blood Crescent.  The team enters the malign storm looming over Kashakant and Rotting Blade... stretching on as best they can tell to the foothills beyond the Burning Keep.  Lighting and rogue storm elementals make flying a hostile experience... the well outide kashakant is guarded by Bound Wind Spirits, wrapped in spell runes from the Circle of Awakening that the Dwarven Defiler had been working on under the gatekeepers' and Varias's protection-- Feng finds that ribbons of the spell remnant are transferrable; getting some on the Butterfly Maul and his arm during the battle.... no immediate bad effect. dropping down into the well, Chuck disintegrates a chunk of the supports and dam wall in the tunnel before Mahewa triggers the Word of Recall, teleporting the team to mid-ship on The First Mobile Temple of Princess Chan. The team leaves Lavor Hai in the hands of a Droaam pilot and two Geico Cavemen to bring the spider-ship back to the team.  Flight time to Blood Crescent from Kashakant: about 4+ hours Time for the river water to reach the tunnels under Blood Crescent from Kashakant: about 6+ hours.  Time of day when the team arrives back on the Temple: about 6am... a couple hours before dawn. (regarding the magic stuff) The most significant point of interest would be the magic dagger that GanG got off the Geico Caveman.. spending an hour of attuning to the weapon yields no true benefits (doesn't require a slot of attunement) but staring into the smokey gem at the butt of the dagger gives way to a vision of a room taht heron knows as The Chamber of Sorrows.  No one is rumored to have left alive.   The Chamber is adorned with Droaam military insignia of the highest quality and rank.  a menagerie of statues encircle a central table where a cloaked figure with writhing hair hidden beneath a black hood sat staring into the same gem as GanG Scribing notes, and occasionally stabbing the inkpen under her hood that resulted with an angry hiss, the figure sat silently scriing an endless flow of notes 1/3 to level 13
