I know it's been a long time since I talked to you and I apologize. I thought taking a long break would help drive my enthusiasm to run Rise of Tiamat but it hasn't. I should be excited to DM it but instead I dread it. Once I realized this I believe it would not be fair to you guys or anyone new who joined if we started and I couldn't finish it. I really liked the idea of changing the 2nd half of the campaign up from the source book but it would be a lot of work to pull it off well. I don't want to half-heartedly put something together each week. You guys have been great to play with and honestly hope to meet you again in another game. If I can't find a game to play as a player I will GM something but it won't be D&D 5E. You would always be welcome in anything I ran. I will certainly remember the cool adventures we had and I wish each of you the best of luck in whatever games you find yourselves in. Sincerely, Nick
