Homebrew adventure for 3-5 characters.
You sit in the main room of the Stumped Treant an inn, in the backwater forest hamlet of Amberdale. The only stop along for a hundred miles of the main tradeway. A filthy places, rats scuttle across the floor as the beady eyed farm folk stare at you from across half drunk ales. A plate is laid on the table before, though you ordered none, as the comely barmaid scurries away. From under the plate of questionable food the corner of a note protrudes.
"Adventurer. We're all in grave danger, meet me in the cellar at once, or you won't live through the night."
This will be a D&D 3.5 adventure and will use just the 3 core books, PHB/MM/DMG. Characters will start at level 1.
[[House Rules]] -Stats should be bought using this scale Clerics/Wizard/Sorcerers/Druids/Fighters- 25 points, Rogues/Bards/Rangers/Palidans/Monks 28 points. -All Casters start with the Eschew Materials feat for free. -Sorcerers gain bonus feats as if they were a wizard. -Rogues/Bards/Monks may choose weapon finesse as a starting feat despite not having +1 BAB -Attacking a turned undead creature breaks the turned effect -I don't bother with encumbrance rules as long as people aren't carrying ridiculous amounts of stuff without an extradimensional space to store it, or trying to carry a house on their back or something. -All shields grant 1 more point to AC than indicated, except bucklers. -No skill synergy bonuses. -Full HP every level (this applies to monsters/NPCs too)
This is a one time adventure, but if it goes well I would like to run a bi weekly game. This is my first time using Roll20 so be patient and willing to help me out. If you would like to play, email a character sheet to amnsolmon@gmail.com along with a skype name.
