Intercepted letter from Dr. Elai Mirza, lead suspect in the Mar'van Incident To my dearest Rabia, I hope all is well at home, I miss you and Malala deeply. I have enclosed with this letter an artifact from my previous dig, it is a fossil of a children's drawing from the time of the ancient ones, I hope our daughter enjoys it! The dig in Mar'van is progressing, we have cleared most of the collapsed passage, and have come upon the entrance to what we believe is the main antechamber of the temple. Alas, ancient magical wards are preventing progress yet again . My team and I will have a few days of well earned rest as we await Dr. Basri's team to clear the wards. I am still having these strange dreams I wrote about in my last letter, and they are becoming more frequent. Dr Kha'bel was most kind in providing a sleep aid, but besides from ensuring I get a restful sleep, the dreams still plague me. Over the past few days I have noticed some changes in these dreams however. The most notable of these changes is that you and Malala are a part of them now. I have seen our daughter, not in our comfortable abode in the Academic district or at school, but instead on the streets of the marketplace, begging for coin. I have seen you waiting tables at the tavern near the docks instead of you in your office or classroom. I do not know if this means anything significant, but it worries me greatly. Perhaps it is just my mind putting familiar faces into the dreams. Perhaps it is because we are Soulbound, and Malala is of my blood. Dr. Kha'bel has told me he would do some research in his free time to see if there is any precedent for such dreams being unnatural or abnormal, but aside from making me miss the both of you even more than I already do, the dreams do not have any ill affect on my well being or my ability to do my job, and so I will continue to do so. I cannot wait to receive your next letter, and do give our daughter my love. With love, Elai Any information leading towards the capture of Dr. Elai Mirza will be rewarded. There is a total bounty of 20,000 GP for the capture of this individual, with payment ensured by Emir Jam'el Har'ad.
