Hello All, I am looking to see if anyone has interest in playing a Pathfinder version of the PS2 game, Radiata Stories. Tied with Chrono Cross as my favorite game of all time, this is something that I feel could translate decently well into Pathfinder. As the story of the game, as well as its characters, are what make me love it so much, I would clearly be following the story of the game, tweaking it to make it fit a 4-player table top. If you have interest, please do let me know. I do not want to start work on this unless I see there are people who want to play and are willing to go with the rules I will create for it. Aside from basic Pathfinder rules, I will instate the following, though more will likely come when I get more into it, and some may fade away. Classes: Core only. Guilds: As the game revolves around the guilds, I will require one member be from a different guild. Fighter Guild: Barbarian, Bard, Fighter, Monk, Ranger Mage Guild: Bard, Sorcerer, Wizard Priest Guild: Cleric, Druid, Monk, Paladin Bandit Guild: Bard, Ranger, Rogue Note that some of these classes overlap, as I feel that some could go to more than one guild, specifically the bard and monk. Humans are the main race of the story, and make up nearly all of Radiata citizen. Non-humans live in their respective areas of the realm. Allowed races are as the game: Human, Elf (known as Light Elves), Half-Elf (known as Dark Elves), Goblin, Dwarf. As the races are limited, as are the classes, this is to be a more basic game. Having DM'd 3.5 and PF for near a decade, I am craving a basic game. This being said, feats and spells will also be limited, possible to the extent of only allowing content from the Core Rule Book (aside from the possible race that is not held within, as I believe the Goblin is not.) Those who have played Radiata Stories are heavily preferred, even though it means that you know the story already. This is much like when people run the Dragonlance campaign and have people play as the actual people of the story. It is a "reliving" instead of a "new adventure". Also, if joined, I would like you to rehash your memory, as needed, with how the game was in society so you can best act in a fitting fashion. As someone who plays the game at least one complete a year since I first bought it, I am happy to help in all ways possible. Note that Pathfinder social norms are not technically the norm, though they are not dissimilar. Again, this is a "testing for desire" post, so let me know =]
