Moving drawings when zoom is not 100% is buggy

It looks to me like the software for determining when the mouse cursor, with the select/move tool enabled, should grab onto a drawing/object on the game board (i.e. on mouseover), is not correctly accounting for the zoom state of the board. In particular, if you're zoomed out, the area considered as a handle for the object is smaller than it should be (depending on where on the screen the object is), apparently truncating the right and bottom of the object when it's close to the right/bottom of the visible part of the board, resp. .

When you are talking about "zoom" are you talking about zoom on the virtual table top or zoom through the browser?
In the virtual table.

Can you give me some exact steps to recreate the issue you are having? For example: 1. Drop image 2. Hit this zoom button 3. drag image Then explain what you are seeing, and if it's not what you expect to see, then explain also how you think it should be working.

Here are a couple screenshots (was slightly tricky to get Windows to show my cursor...) http://imgur.com/a/B9wVUasg In both, I'm zoomed out in the virtual tabletop. In the first, my cursor is hovering over the hand-drawn image, and shows a pointer for selecting the graphic under the point (a complicated grouped thing, but this occurs for e.g. a simple rectangle also). In the second image, it's hovering elsewhere over the graphic and shows a default arrowhead, and when clicked won't select the graphic. This doesn't occur when zoomed at 100% or closer, and when zoomed out, seems to fail on a portion of the image that is a) always on the right or bottom, and b) proportional in size to the distance between the graphic in question, and the right/bottom edge of the viewport. So a small rectangle on the far right of the viewport won't be selectable anywhere, but on the left edge will be selectable almost everywhere on its body. Occurs in both background and object layers,by the way. So it seems like an issue transforming screen coordinates, or browser coordinates, to VTT ones, or vice versa. I am not positive it's a roll20 issue, although that's where I encounteredit. This issue is VERY prominent when zoomed out very far, and makes it essentially impossible to do graphics from that perspective. This is in Chrome, in Windows 8.1. Chrome itself is scaled to 100%, i.e. normal. (Just checked - also occurs in firefox.) After posting I'll go check in Ubuntu.
A little more info: It happens in Ubuntu 14.04 also. I'm using the trackpad on a Acer Aspire V5. I'm not exactly sure to what extent the bug occurs in proportion to the graphic's distance from the top-left, but certainly to some extent; i.e. I can scroll the viewport up and down and observe the selectable part of the graphic changing as a function of its position.

My bad, let's try this: http://imgur.com/a/B9wVU . Thanks for the recommendation, that looks useful. I'll try tomake something more intelligible with that.

Sam, which of your games is this happening in? I want to make a copy and mess around with it myself, and see if I can figure out what's going on. It may be a little more tedious, but at lest you can zoom in to drag stuff around in the mean time.
