Where to next?

So the characters have wealth, power, followers, and a carnivorous tree in the Archipelago...and maybe a few remaining loose ends to tie up. In the next session, we will work on tying up these loose ends and seeing how you all do this. However, would like to see where you, as players, would like to go next? The Archipelago and tree will serve as home/hq, I just want a new spot for the next arc. So, I'd like to see what you guys want to explore, I have two ideas off the top of my head. That being said, I welcome other ideas. This is a totally meta question in that wherever you guys want to go next, I'll make your characters an offer they can't refuse to get them there.  The Thousand Gods - Steaming jungle filled with tribes worshiping a variety of deities, old research facilities for theotechnic arts, and MECHA! The games here would also involve both the Regency and Toban people, so with Lucas being a native, this means it kind of involves a number of the characters' home areas. Themes would involve things such as the nature of worship, how to respond to the awful horrible parasite god keeping thousands of souls free from hell, and maybe loyalty to your native regions. The Raktine Confederation - The Hierarch of the Inquisition waits for Lucas and Shifu as do the numerous Black Academies. The players met members of the a group calling themselves the Inquisition earlier. They were searching for demon hunters and cursing those they found. Various threats are present here in the region, Black Academies are schools of magic that offer tools for getting rid of monsters from Uncreated Night, but for a price. Threats from Uncreated Night are found in this area as well. The pantheon could face a variety of different threats here and face some intrigue as well. Themes I can see of the top of my head include the responsibilities of power and further looks into the nature of Uncreated Night.
I'm intrigued by both paths you laid out.  As a player, i know we could find fun and adventure anywhere;  as the player of Shifu, i find the Thousand Gods setting most compelling at this stage. Shifu is an immature nascent divine power, and wants worshipers something awful. He craves the attention and adulation of the seething masses, but is starting to get a glimmer of the responsibility for his adherents that comes with their tribute.  And still reeling from his first exposure to Hell, a few sessions back, he is anxious to find a way to reward all who worship him with some better alternative to that torment.
