Have people talked about campaign wikis?

I don't know if there's an awesome search function for the forums, so I apologize if this was talked about earlier and I missed it. I think it would be really neat if each campaign could have an associated wiki-format place for saving information -- campaign notes, character sheets, setting information, etc. It could probably be set up so that information on the wiki is counted against the game creator's storage quota, so that you don't see people storing a ton of information there and bogging down the system. It could be a feature limited to subscribers at the $5 or $10 tier, maybe, as a useful incentive that isn't prohibitive to do without (ie, there are other free wiki alternatives, but they would not be quite as convenient.) If I'm late to the party and people already talked about this somewhere, I apologize!
I think it's been mentioned before. Personally, I'm not sure it's such a great idea since that would put them more in competition with something like Obsidian Portal which specializes in campaign wikis and has been doing it for a while now. Though, I'll admit, it's always nice to keep your info all in one place.
I dislike obsidian portal. I much prefer wikidot.com where I don't have to pay for it and I have a great deal of control over how the site looks through css. <a href="http://heavens-gate.wikidot.com" rel="nofollow">http://heavens-gate.wikidot.com</a> is my d&d campaign wiki. If i could get a cleaner chat log from roll20 I could prolly embed it in the wiki somehow.

While I'm not the guys, I'm going to take a good guess that the devs would be leery to trek into this sort of side project. While wikis are really helpful for campaigns, it would be a lot of work diverted from the actual virtual tabletop portion of Roll20. As you can see from above, folks already use Obsidian Portal or craft their own to fall in line with their own eye for aesthetics like in Jonathan's instance. It might be something worth while to look at when Roll20 is really well established. As is, there's still A TON of development that needs doing to Roll20 proper.
