So, I've been sitting on this idea for a while now, and figured that I should at least gauge interest before committing more resources into it. The Overview I'm looking to DM a one-shot esque PvP arena style game. I say one shot esque as there will not be any real overarching story and players will not be leveling up. Additionally, players will be rotating in and out of games. However, I think it would be cool to have some sort of king of the hill or W/L score for people to keep track of. This game is pretty much a time for the min-maxer or theory crafter to shine. So if you think you've got the best build out there please apply. Specific rules will appear on the actual game page. The simplified setup Teams of 4 players will team up and craft their characters following some guidelines and submit them to me to look over to ensure no cheating. (Although I really hope no one would try to) Both teams would then run through 2 small encounters before arriving at an arena with "randomized" terrain where they will fight for victory. The Logistics Games will be hosted probably around 6 or 7 pm PST on Wednesdays, Tuesdays, or Fridays. Although leaning more toward Wed or Tues. I'm thinking the game/s will last around 3 hrs long. Important! While I typically enjoy new players, this probably isn't the game for you. While I can't say I know all the rules of combat, players will be expected to know most of the rules of combat. Additionally, so combat doesn’t become bogged down due to the amount of players, decision making is expected in a timely manner. As of current I'm thinking around 15 seconds of "thinking time" before actions need to be declared. This will keep the flow going and also maintain the atmosphere of a fast paced combat. That said, if you are new and honestly think you can do it, by all means sign up. So post if you are interested!
