Has Dragon Age:dating sim™ left a gaping hole in your life? well gape no longer because i am looking for 3-4 players to take part in a dragon age rpg campaign taking place during the early days of the inquisition. Previous experience with the system is not required, beginners or novices to the system are more than welcome. I myself have about half a year of experience running dragon age and 5 years experience running pathfinder so i'd like to believe i can run a fun game for my players  : ). Game time: Saturdays 6pm est The rules for the DA system are very simple and give heavily to lore so if your a big fan of da lore than this system will be for you. On the other hand if you're not big on the lore but have an interest in the series than the lore will be easy to pick up and not woven too tightly into the core mechanics If you're interested in playing then just post below with your name and experience (if any) with dragon age as a series, and what sort of playstyle you enjoy (role play vs. roll play ect.)
found my first player so there are 3 open spots left  : )
I'm interested. I've played all the DA games (multiple times, because I am that kind of nerd) but not the official RPG. I'm a heavy roleplayer and usually do more rules light systems, but I'd definitely be up for trying something heavier. Also: what are you thinking for how the events of the games went?
Thanks for taking the time to respond : ). In my experience of playing and running pathfinder, DA, and savage worlds i definetly have to say that DA has he most intuitive and easy to grasp rule system out there. all checks are made with d6's and there are rules that mirror the actual mechanics of the video games to a point. As for the events that i led my characters through. I think i'll give a quick rundown of big choices seeing as i'll be using them for the lore background in this game ORIGINS: -Warden was a male city elf rogue -Sided with the lady of the forest and destroyed the dalish clan -Branca destroyed the anvil and then killed herself -Right of annulment was carried through -Connor did not survive the events at redcliffe, isolde is alive, the town was not destroyed -Urn of sacred ashes was not poisoned -Warden slew archdemon and survived battle -Alistair rules alone as king of Fereldan -City of Amaranthine saved during darkspawn assault Dragon Age II: -Terrion Hawke was an aggro male warrior -Saved the mages from the templars in act 1 -Killed the arishok in defense of isabella in act 2 -Sided with the mages in act 3 -Anders Executed Inquisition so far: -Inquisitor Ruory Trevelyan is a human rogue -Inquisitor refuses the title of andrastes herald -Mages taken on as free allies after completing "hushed Whispers" -------------- That's about as far i've played into inquisitions main story but i am progressing into more of it. Technically at this point he's not really the inquisitor so the game will take place during the very early stages of it where he would be addresed as "the herald of andraste" instead much to his annoyance. I feel at this point that origins was more fantastical with more of a focus on caves and the god awful deep roads that it forces you to spend 20 hours in x.x. Story was really enjoyable but it was definetly geared around the story of the world and not so much the warden or your party. Dragon age 2 felt like a thin sheet of ice, it looked pretty and inviting and the second you put too much weight on it it shattered and you saw how shallow it really was, other than that though it's enjoyable so long as you don't get invested in it. So far inquisitions feels very drama heavy and i'm not sure if that'll get draining or not, very little humor to be found outside of banter at this point.
I am interested. I have played all the games, enjoying all of them, read the novels and comics, as well as the 2 lore books released.I have played the RPG several times, running a campaign myself some years ago. I hope I can join and will be as good a player as I can be. I love to role-play, tho I'm not averse to a good crawl. Feel free to PM me any questions you may have about me.  Hope to hear from you soon.

Sounds interesting. Played the games of course, but never the pen&paper.
