Thanks for taking the time to respond : ). In my experience of playing and running pathfinder, DA, and savage worlds i definetly have to say that DA has he most intuitive and easy to grasp rule system out there. all checks are made with d6's and there are rules that mirror the actual mechanics of the video games to a point. As for the events that i led my characters through. I think i'll give a quick rundown of big choices seeing as i'll be using them for the lore background in this game ORIGINS: -Warden was a male city elf rogue -Sided with the lady of the forest and destroyed the dalish clan -Branca destroyed the anvil and then killed herself -Right of annulment was carried through -Connor did not survive the events at redcliffe, isolde is alive, the town was not destroyed -Urn of sacred ashes was not poisoned -Warden slew archdemon and survived battle -Alistair rules alone as king of Fereldan -City of Amaranthine saved during darkspawn assault Dragon Age II: -Terrion Hawke was an aggro male warrior -Saved the mages from the templars in act 1 -Killed the arishok in defense of isabella in act 2 -Sided with the mages in act 3 -Anders Executed Inquisition so far: -Inquisitor Ruory Trevelyan is a human rogue -Inquisitor refuses the title of andrastes herald -Mages taken on as free allies after completing "hushed Whispers" -------------- That's about as far i've played into inquisitions main story but i am progressing into more of it. Technically at this point he's not really the inquisitor so the game will take place during the very early stages of it where he would be addresed as "the herald of andraste" instead much to his annoyance. I feel at this point that origins was more fantastical with more of a focus on caves and the god awful deep roads that it forces you to spend 20 hours in x.x. Story was really enjoyable but it was definetly geared around the story of the world and not so much the warden or your party. Dragon age 2 felt like a thin sheet of ice, it looked pretty and inviting and the second you put too much weight on it it shattered and you saw how shallow it really was, other than that though it's enjoyable so long as you don't get invested in it. So far inquisitions feels very drama heavy and i'm not sure if that'll get draining or not, very little humor to be found outside of banter at this point.
