Session 6 (The Home Stretch) Our party has finished up resting in the Commissary area of the Labyrinth and all of the captives have been freed and fed. The party has given the massive amount of copper that they have found to the villagers of Stench so that they could rebuild if or when they can get out of the Grey’s hideout. After a long discussion on where to go next, our adventurers had decided to go back to the cave system where they had left the night before. Upon entering this cave system, screams of terror rang throughout the tunnels making the party fear the worst for the other villagers that had been brought down here. After a long but victorious fight with a Gelatinous Cube, the party pushed ahead finding the dead bodies of another adventuring party. There were also corpses of a hybrid type of arachnid human/spider type of creature dead as well. After a short bit searching the reast of the caves, our party found the room where the screams had been ringing out. Doctor Kevork, the evil Drow Warlock has been behind the process of combining spider and human parts to make these hybrid arachnids. After Kevork unleashed his Beholder upon the party (which was actually Phantasmal Force, LOL, I love that spell for low level adventures) the party mustered the strength and Graegos saved the day by using his Horn of Blasting to vanquish both Dr. Kevork and the Beholder illusion. Now that all of the stone keys have been discovered and the Cleric of Lolth disposed the party opened all of the secret doors and proceeded to find Raistlyn. As the party marched furiously towards the throne room they started finding many dead Grey’s along the way. When everyone charged through the last archway entering the throne room the group was met by many of the well known heroes of the Forgotten Realms. After Wulfgar, Regis, Bruenor, Cattie and Drizzt bid farewell to our heroes Tsumoro finally was face to face with a nearly dead Raistlyn. Raistlyn told Tsumoro that he wanted him by his side to rule the Sword Coast. Fortunately for Tsumoro he was betrayed by Raistlyn and sold into slavery. Poor Raistlyn died a horrible death. Now the party is back in Neverwinter at their humble abode above the Moonstone Mask tavern. After hiring a commission of laborers to empty out the Grey’s hideout of supplies Graegos was summoned by Lord Nasher for an audience. Nasher has requested that Graegos and his party of adventurers make the long journey to Daggerford to help with duties down south.
