The town of Lerton

Talia's House Rosalyn Domerian wanders her home, she has no idea how she still owns the home at this point her taxes were overdue and she lost Eldrin's Shop.  She often wonders how she will put food on the table and wood in the fire.  But every time the tax collectors are set to come or the woodpile is empty or the cupboards are bare, the next morning all is right.  The tax collector never shows but a receipt has been left on the door showing her taxes paid in full.  Her wood pile never gets down past 1/4 full even during the harshest of winters and the cupboards are always stocked with the finest foods. Talia sent someone to tell her about Eldrin and he gave her his bow, she stabbed the man that brought this news, she stabbed him 3 times in the chest and twice in the back.  She remembers that he calmly disarmed her and left the house blood flowing freely from his wounds.  She never did catch his name and she worries about Talia every day.  The widow Domerian, no one will go near that house, on occasion the townspeople can hear her wailing in the night over the lose of her husband and daughter. The man that came that night that her world fell apart he tried to tell her more but she would not have any of it, this night Rosalyn falls asleep under the influence of a strong dwarven ale. The next morning she finds herself in her bed, covers on and a pitcher of cold fresh water by her bed.  Later she will find her cupboards full again, her little tasks around the house taken care of (That loose floorboard, that broken chair and that wasp nest on the back porch), her wood pile is restocked and the stack next to the hearth full once more. The elf walking away from the home only whispers to himself as he leaves closing the door ever so quietly. 'I will watch over her for you Talia as I promised I would.'
Omg way to freak me out haha. I read the first part and was like "nooooo", then got the the end and was like, "thank god he's still alive." I have got to get Talia back to see her mom some time soon, she's having quite a rough time.
I'd hang onto that guy, talk about devotion! Even with you missing for 4 years, and your mom stabbing him multiple times, he just takes it in stride.
