To my dearest brothers, Vespan, Brutus and Marcus, I can hardly believe it's been over a year since I first came to this strange and vibrant island, I appologise for not writing to you as often as I could but no doubt Junarga's occaisional missives have been keeping you boys somewhat informed. Still, let me tell you what your demon-slaying little sister has been up too since that first winter. On my venture to the mainland I managed to destroy the corruption that had infected a long lost avatar of the lord Sol, recovering Raos back into the pantheon. There's a man here, Cain of some obscure and distant line Immortui of Rathaka with whom I worked on that, he's one to watch I'll bet. Oh also while there established contact with a lost little glarnic Kingdom from whom the city procued a large quantity of food backed by our credit, on which we made a tidy sum of profit I might add. In fact there are a number of potential investment opportunities for our family here that we can capitalise on strange new crops like the poetatos such as kafe, tabocco that we could import back to Valmar. If Vespan is too busy heading up the family(Have you found a wife yet, brother? I so look forward to becoming an auntie!) then at least Brutus and Marcus could come for a visit and see for yourselves. There's plenty of land along this quaint little river valley and the hills are apparantly full of valuable metals, iron and copper, it reminds me of father's stories of how our lands must have looked before those ancient Donau's tamed it and made it great. You may have heard of some piratical rebellion held over from the time after the great war threatening Haven? Well, they are still around but a great storm wrecked most of their fleet and I was involved in guiding loyal armies to putting paid to what remained of their force on land, so the risk of operations here is at it's minimum I think. Still if you boys do bless us with a visit come the long way through Medara won't you? The Lirians are supurb mariners and the tyde is open year round from that side. The house here is of course no where near as large as Donau Citadel, nor even our estate in Valmar, however the lack of ancestors caskets around does give it a rather free and airy charm that I believe will be most enjoyable and there is hardly an errant draft. By the way, I met a woman here, the noble Lady Carlaen, she frequents the fellowship of the Rose's headquarters and heads up her own families' businesses and was apparantly well aquainted with our father. She asked after you boys though I imagine only Vespan would have been old enough to recall ever meeting her back in the home country. She would be a great ally and help to getting our House properly established on Haven and Maladon. Anyway, I think thats enough for now, I'm doing well and miss you three even if we didnt part on the best of terms. I hope you'll write back with news of your plans to come visit! From your sister, with love; Aurelia (Letter dated 20th of Quickern 986)
