The wish

In the night after being spoken with by Trelic, the Prince wakes Malaya. 'Your answer the my question about the wish intrigued me, what happened to your family?'  'I do not know how much I can help but I really do feel a debt to you and your group.' 'The gnome would wish us free from this place, a task I think us capable of after seeing how you work together.  The professor I believe I know his wish but I do not think the power would be able to influence the creature growing within him.  Elly and Trelic I sense have gotten their wish.'  With the last comment Malaya sees that Trelic is sleeping sitting up next to Elly where the Prince had setup last evening. 'I have not asked Talia yet about her desires for the wish and I will, but your wish to recover your family maybe there is at least a small measure I can return to you.  I have also heard of an artifact a crystal rose that may be capable of giving back to you the vampire if she is still willing to return to you.' 'You could wish for this rose.'

Malaya wakes with a start, pulling herself into a sitting position and drawing her knees towards her chest. "The viceroy killed them." Malaya's eyes harden at the thought, and she sniffs before speaking again. "But you don't owe us anything. I'm just glad we could save someone. Do you know where I could find the rose? Without the wish?"

'I do not know where the rose is but if there is any record of it, it would be in the library of Bertalia (this is the library Fizzle knows about).  You will need a key for it as the library is lost to the world.' 'I truly am sorry for your lose, and if I can do anything just ask.'  Draxx holds her hand and a warmth washes over her. 'I hope you find peace, we all deserve a little peace.'

"And the vampire has to be willing?" Malaya asks. "What if she isn't?" Malaya smiles at the prince before shaking her head. "I think offering a wish is plenty. But it'll be a long time before I ever feel peace again. If ever."

'Yes the vampire must be willing and I will try to find you some peace, you are a Berk are you not?  I always admired your family, your mother is...sorry was a great wizard.  As King I will have things available to me which I may be able to use to help.'

"Yes, she was. I'm sorry, but I don't see how even a king could make any of this better."

He smiles slightly, 'Let us focus first on getting home.  Where there is hope there is always a way.  Just trust in what could be.'  Draxx settles back in to a night's sleep.

"Home. Right. Wherever that is," Malaya says as she lies back down and falls into a restless sleep.

After Malaya falls into her restless sleep the Prince exits the sheltered area of the tiny hut.  He goes to a far end of the cave and kneels down with his Glaive and mutters to himself a glow shines around him for a moment and he returns to sleep.  Just then Malaya stirs awake.

Elly's Father watches these events unfold curiously as he and his daughter are awake and seem to be talking but not out loud. 

Malaya sits up with a gasp and looks around as if she forgot where she was. "You're awake," she says to the man who, hopefully, is Elly's father. "And there's a dragon. Apparently, a lot happened tonight."

A small silver dragon runs around Elly puffing little ice clouds in the air. The man looks over and asks, 'Are you ok, you seem to have had a bad dream?'

"I don't know. I've had a lot of those lately. But I just can't shake this one. It still feels so real."

Elly's Father simply points towards the Prince he may have something to do with it. Draxx rolls over trying to appear more asleep. having been betrayed.

"Draxx? What does he have to do with anything?" Malaya asks before moving to nudge the prince awake.

'Ask him, he was the one casting a wish over on the other side of the cavern.' The Prince's body visibly tenses up hearing the traitorous words of Elly's dad.

"He what ?" Malaya shakes the prince more urgently. "Get up, I know you're awake."

The Prince looks up at Malaya, 'Yes, can I help you?'

"Don't look at me like that. What did you do?"

//Guess I should wait to level up till next game, cus I don't think anyone is getting a long rest this night. =P

The Prince chats with Malaya for a bit and returns to sleep.
