Players can't move their tokens after given permission.

To Whom it may concern, I had my first session with my players yesterday and during one of our battles, two of the players could not move their character tokens. I looked to see if there was similar issues on the forum and found that this person is experiencing the exact same thing that i am( players cant control character tokens and neither can i if i switch over to being a player instead of the GM). https://app.roll20.net/forum/post/639398/players-c... Was this issue resolved? If so, how can i go about doing so? Thank you for your time. Here are my Computer specs: OS -Windows 7, Screecn Resolution - 1366x768, Web browser - Chrome 50.0.2661.102, Browser size - 1304x639, IP address -75.118.103.188, Color depth -24bit, Flash version - 21.0.-1, Javascript and Cookies - Enabled.
Check to see that the player tokens are on the Token Layer and not the Map Layer. As GM, check what layer you are set to on the Toolbox. See here: https://wiki.roll20.net/Layers If the tokens are on the Map Layer, you can right-click on them, click Layer on the context menu, then click Token Layer . Hope this helps.
Yes, i've double, triple and quadruple checked to make sure they were on the appropriate layer. As a GM i can move all the tokens, but when i switch to a player i can only move one of them. all the permissions are the same.
I believe I fixed the problem. For some reason, under the token options, the option to choose who the token represents got reset. I made the tokens represent their appropriate characters and i was able to move them as a player so hopefully they will be able to. So to recap, for those who may have this problem in the future, check to make sure that the tokens are selected to represent the appropriate character journal.

Sorry but tied to this issue seems to be another issue im experiencing. When ever i drag a new token out for a character from the journal, the resulting token still doesn't "represent" that character so they cant control them. Is there something obvious that im missing so that i can avoid having to make the tokens represent their appropriate charaters everytime? thanks
As GM, click the token on the tabletop to select it and then click the gear pop-up icon to open the Edit Token window. Make sure that the Represents Character dropdown is set to the correct character. Make sure that the Controlled By field says "(Determined by Character settings)." Close the Edit Token window. Now open the character from the Journal. Click the Edit button. Verify that the Can Be Edited and Controlled By field contains the correct player(s). Click Save Changes if you needed to edit this.

Ah. Once you set up the token correctly on the tabletop, you need to go back to edit the character's journal and set the token to be the default token for that character. Then when you drag from the journal it will re-create that token again with all the settings. Specifically, with the token on the tabletop selected, click the Use Selected Token button in the Default Token (Optional) box.
