Evening/Morning/Or bugger whatever time it is for you. I run The Resurgence of the Guild, and have for just over three or so years now, but that is not why I am here. No, no indeed. I am here to announce I may be running a one-shot, possibly a few of them, this coming week. Sorry to those whom work in the evenings, but these will likely be during the mid-day hours as I have normal sessions for my group to run. "Ok, but the heck are you running?" The most likely candidates are D&D 5E, set in a world I am crafting specifically for the use of one-shots/pop-up adventures* as well as The Void Core**. The idea is to try and give players a chance to play and me to flex my "on-the-fly with strangers" muscles. *If you are a novice DM interested in getting into the newest system of D&D, or a veteran up for a go, I invite you to join this world building exercise and see where things go. Perhaps to become its own regular thing? **I have personally never run this system, nor played it. I have loosely followed it and supported it in its efforts for some time now. If you are a previous player/host of the system or not I hope you're up for a learning experience! Now, I have two small caveats. If I have to tell you how to operate roll20's basic features (dice rolls/macros) please do not request to attend. I will happily give you some pointers on my free time but not during the session. There is a love-filled wiki that goes over most of the things the regular user need know. I also do not do "text only" one-shots. As fast at typing as I am, it loses a bit of the feel for me when interacting solely through text (that said, I do have a text-campaign that has been looking for players for a few months now, but that's pbp). Other than that; if within the next hour I get 4 players wanting to play, I have a small 5E one shot I am up for hosting to kick off my mini-vacation.
