Chat Archive not working/crashes tab

Currently running google chrom, and whenever i try to open chat archive, either from in game or out of game it takes ages to load, and crashes the tab and sometimes the browser. Most likely, the chat archive is extremely large. This is easy to achieve if you're playing a text-only campaign, or the campaign has been going on for a long time. Is Chrome actually crashing, or does the tab hang with a "taking too long to respond" message popping up? If it's the latter, you should be able to click "wait" and let Chrome finish loading the archive. Then, I recommend you save the page to your computer (if you want a backup of the archive) and clear the archive from your game details (Settings &gt; Clear Chat Archive). Don't clear the chat from within the VTT, as that only clears your archive of the current session, and only for you.

It works on safari, but yeah I think it's a size issue

It is usually what Brian suggests, to large of a chat archive. Follow his suggestions and let us know if it helps. If it doesn't we can start with our troubleshooting procedures.

ive been able to recover the chat from safari browser and save it, will clear it and from now on i will keep logging it and clearing it regularly, to keep it from happening again
