Campaigns not loading

Hi, Sora A. Thank you for your thorough bug report! It appears that you're having issues connecting to Firebase, a data host of Roll20. Could you also please let us know what happens when you visit this diagnostic webpage? <a href="https://roll20-1.firebaseio.com/pingdomcheck.json" rel="nofollow">https://roll20-1.firebaseio.com/pingdomcheck.json</a> The page should display "{"online":true}" if all is well. If is does not display "{"online":true}", please try testing it with all antivirus programs and all browser extensions disabled. If it still does not, please try the diagnostic webpage with Firefox. If it still does not display "{"online":true}", there's unfortunately not much that Roll20 can do on their end. Here's what Phil B. of the Roll20 Dev Team has said about this particular issue: If this is happening then, there really isn't anything I can do about it. It's an issue with your ISP, or even their ISP. Basically somewhere on the internet between you are firebase someone is blocking the connection. If you are not able to set up a free VPN, then your next option would be to call your ISP and tell them that you cannot connect to firebase, a web host. Other than that you're only options are to wait, and maybe it will get fixed by them eventually or to play from a different connection like at a coffee shop.

I tried the link and it says:  This site can't be reached roll20-1.firebaseio.com refused to connect. So does that mean that my ISP is the issue as to why I'm suddenly not able to get into the campaigns?

It's a strong possibility, but just to make sure, please do try these final two troubleshooting steps: Disable all antivirus programs and all browser extensions, and then try the link again. Try the link with Firefox. Thank you.

I disabled all my antivirus programs and extensions; still says it refused to connect. Tried in Firefox: Says it can't establish a connection to the server.

I am also experiencing this issue in multiple browsers.  Although I'm not convinced it's the ISP as I am about to connect to my campaign from a mobile device without a data connectiong and connected wirelessly to the same network as my computer.

Then, unfortunately, there's not much that Roll20 can do for you in this situation. Using a VPN is probably the only viable workaround until you are able to work something out with your ISP/Firebase. I don't know how it worked but a friend suggested I try getting into the campaign using Incognito mode in Chrome and it worked. It loaded up like it normally would.  I don't know if you already tried this Mathew, but it somehow worked for me.

I'm glad to hear that, though I'm wondering why private browsing solves the issue even though you said you already cleared your cache. It would be very helpful to know if clearing Chrome's browsing data (from 'beginning of time') provides a solution that doesn't involve private browsing; would you mind testing that out for us?
