Session 37 Log
After fleeing the wreckage
of Dark Star station, the Neon Tygers make their way to Pinnacle
station.
We pass the UPF battle
fleet still reforming their battle line after the sneak attack of the
pirate clans. Upon arriving on Pinnacle station Mumba collect us to
conduct a debriefing. After examining the data we collected it is
determine that the Sathars on that board Dark Star station were down
loading the schematics of Sathar's vessels onto the station computer
and not uploading.
We then question the
Malthar under Truth All and found no evident that he was in league
with them.
We do get additional
information on his ship yard and station build on the moon of Lost
Reach. We determine that we need to mount an attack on the station to
deny the Sathars and the Pirate Clans an operational base of
operation in the system. Discussing various plans on using high speed
debris to bomb the base, the alarm comes that the Sathar and pirate
clans have departed their base with a small planetoid and was on
course to Inner Reach.
Volunteering to mount an
exploratory mission to Lost Reach while the Combine UPF and militias
engage the Sathar forces.
We are given a command of
one of Malthar Assault scout and we take a long around route around
the primary star and Inner Reach to deceive the Sathars on our true
destination. When they do determine our course they launch a squadron
of fighters which will intercept us on our way back. When arrive at
the station of Lost Reach we discover it is abandon, and we decide to
launch a Tungsten rod that we mounted on the outside of our ship. The
rod hits doing damage, but due to lack of radiation it becomes
obvious that the base is completely shut down and we decide to hit
back to the fleet in order to join the battle.
Meeting up with the
Sathars' fighter we decide to lead them into a tail chase in order to
take them out of the battle. We make sure to keep the fighter out of
assault rocket range and use our laser to pick them off one by one.
Once done we speed off to the battle that was in it last stages. Most
of the Sathar's force were destroy with the expection of an Assault
Carrier , two battle cruiser and frigate. The battle cruiser are
making a last stand that allow the Assault carriers and frigate to
escape.
The Neon Tyger make a
torpedo run on one of the battle cruiser and shower it with a barrage
of assault rockets that tear the enemy ship apart. We join the
remainer of the fleet in attacking the remaining Cruiser, but end up
a target and their return fire gut the Assault ship we manned, with
heroic effort we keep the craft from falling apart and watch as the
final Battle Cruiser is rip to sheds by the remaining UPF forces..
