Circular Masking and Borders from the Image Library

Hi folks,  I use circular tokens rather than top-down images for most of my games. As a result, I'm still opening the old TokenTool java application from the RPTools days. Roll20 has basically replaced every aspect of my old MapTool workflow besides that!  What would be really nice is to be able to search for portrait images, and after selecting a portrait, simply mask the image to a circular shape-- not unlike the way most websites allow the cropping of user images. Bonus points would include a flexible system for defining a circular border for the token image, be it a single color or some more advanced looking thing. Token borders are especially useful for identifying players vs. enemies, etc.  This would save me a lot of effort in image processing, as currently I have to open TokenTool, drag and drop the desired image into TokenTool, save it (which is a pain on the mac, due to Java's filesystem interactions), find it in my OS, then upload it to Roll20. It's even worse, because often I want the complete image in Roll20 for the character sheet portrait as well. It would be much better to upload the image once (or not at all for searched images), set it as a portrait, then just add the circle masking in Roll20. I actually think it would cut my current prep time in half. Thanks!
Closely related to this issue is facing for circular tokens. I'm currently using The Aaron's wonderful script for this, but if there were ever to be official support for circular tokens as above, it might be nice if the platform was smart enough to track facing for circle-masked portraits as well. I suspect that a great number of people use this style of token, it's about time we got some more support for it.
