Me and my friends wanted to us Roll20 to play rouge trader but we don't know how to set it up. My friend who is gonna be the GM thinks it would be to complicated. I just thought i would ask here for help.
Roll20 is extremely user-friendly. I highly recommend that the GM check out the Help & Docs section for guidelines on setting up a game. He/She should have a game up and running in no time. :D

Yeah, I'm willing to help too. Could you be a little more specific as to what exactly he/she needs help with? Uploading maps? Creating tokens? Creating macros? Setting up character journals and handouts?
Well one thing is, how do I get maps other than the ones I can find in the store? I know how to find user created free ones, but I definitely need something more advanced and Gothic than woods and log cabins.
Welcome to Roll20, Sandworm & KHORNE. If you're looking for map resources, I'd recommend taking a gander over at this thread . It has oodles of art & gaming resources to get yourself started creating maps.
or you can just click and drag your own images into the window, likely need to do some sizing, but then you get the maps you like. I'm in a rogue trader game on here, and our gm uses scans of maps he draws himself...
i might sound out of place but rouge= French for red. the correct words is rogue trader. i thought it was a typo but you did it twice.
also, tell your gm is not complicated. most of the things are drag and drop. or have an option to upload your own content. he should see the video that pops up when you start the campaign. its very educational.

I was trying so hard not to say it. Especially as in the US, Rouge is lipstick. "Rouge Trader" was sounding like the most surreal RPG ever.
well a rogue trader could potentially make a business in the make up industry.
