Ability to Scale X and Y Distance Values for Isometric maps

If you could set the measuring tool and movement to treat Y distances as a different interval from X distances, that could be helpful with isometric maps. Most isometric dungeon maps have Y distances at 57.7% of X, I believe. Going one step further, if you could set the ratio of Y to any old value, then you could use all sorts of landscape style illustrations somewhat effectively as maps. I do this all the time already, I just don't have Y axis measurement support, or I have to fudge it.
