Every time i click on a weapon or any sort of save from the character sheet it shows two separate numbers with two different d20 values and neither are relevant to each other

If you are talking about D&D 5e, then you're most likely looking at two rolls so that you can have advantage or disadvantage as necessary. If you have neither advantage nor disadvantage, use the first roll.
