I speak specifically of something like this Shut Up & Sit Down Megagame Special Too long; Didn't Watch Basically you would be on a team consisting of 4 players representing a real world nation. (U.S., U.K., Japan) You as a nation would be facing a crisis an alien invasion to be precise. As players you would take the roles of Prime Ministers/Presidents, U.N. officials, military generals, and leading scientists to try and lead you country to the best resolution of this crisis. Whatever you as a country believe that resolution to be. You could instead play as the Alien team. Who knows what motivates you to invade Earths skies. Game play would be part tactical resource allocation and part role-play. ANYTHING is possible in this sort of game. Will Earth crumble to an alien invasion? Will Earth defend her right to live? Will both sides shake hands in a peace to outlast time? Will countries turn on each other to gain the trust of the invaders? ONLY YOU CAN DECIDE Currently I am trying to gauge interest. Around here if it is not D&D or Pathfinder most things get kicked to the curb. If enough people told me they were even remotely intrested this could happen. For this to work we would need 1.) A lot of people. The first Watch the Skies used 26 human players, 9 alien players, 8 GM's/Moderators and one media representative. That is 44 people total, but we would not have to do something of such a grand scale. We could do a small megagame.(That's an oxymoron) 2.) GM's/Moderators to help run this smoothly. I would need at least one other person to help me organize all this data. 3.) Probably have to be play by forum. It could work if everyone was in the same time zone, But I don't want to exclude people from an opportunity like this just because they live in a different time zone.(Exactly how I was excluded from both RL Watch the Skies.) 4.) Discord/Skype or something similar to communicate with your team quickly on a private line. If you are at all interested please post below or PM me. I know I have wanted to do this since watching that video 2 years ago and with Roll20 I now have the chance. All credit for this idea and rules goes to the wonderful people at Megagame Makers U.K. (Don't sue me please.)
