My players actually figured out that the Distance took is pretty useful. Target what you mean, move it a few pixel and you get a nice arrow on top of it.
 
 But I can confirm too that Ping is very sensitive. I try to target that "turn token" thingy for example and 50% of the time it pings as well, if I don't move the mouse quickly enough.
 Or I target a token to move it, and ping... a Ping.
