Map Size Issues

I just bought a map set from the roll20 Market Place. Seemed like a very good idea to buy maps for the game from the game. But the maps happened to be larger than 5MB which is the maximum size for the grid. It seems odd the maps sold in the system for the system does not fit. It has to be a fix for this...?

Hi Mikael, what method are you using to get the map that you purchased from Marketplace onto the tabletop? If you download the purchase from the Marketplace, and re-upload it to your Roll20 account, you could bump up against the 5MB limit per asset on Free accounts. (It rises to 10MB per asset on subscription accounts). The good news is you can use Marketplace-Purchased assets without downloading and uploading. They do not count against your quota, and should not be limited in the file-size that can drop onto the map. In the new Library rework, you should find your Marketplace Purchased Assets in a tab in-game. If you drag them from that tab of Premium Assets directly to the tabletop, it should not stop for such a limitation. Wiki docs for this, https://wiki.roll20.net/Art_Library If it's still throwing this error when you drag from the Premium Assets tab to your tabletop, please post again and we will provide troubleshooting steps.

I was actually downloading the maps and then drag/drop to the grid which did not work when the map exceeded 5MB. But I followed your instructions and now I have no problem. Map loading is like clock work and for now I have no size issues. Thank you for the quick response.
