I use the campaign forum too, since any new message flags that thread with the word NEW and shoots that thread up to the top of the list (but below any "pinned" messages that are always on top). I "pin" message threads that I call Game Procedures (for general info about the way the game will be run), Game Schedule (announcing the next session, "office hours" to generate characters, maintain and buy equipment, etc.) and Rules Questions (where players can ask questions about the game system's rules.) I give some links to my web-space as well, in both the message threads and a Handout.
