Chat Window does not work

If I type anything into the chat window it doesn't show up. &nbsp;It's the same from multiple computers and accounts. &nbsp;Windows 10 Google Chrome. &nbsp;If I go into the chat archive the macro results or typed in text shows up just fine, but it doesn't show up real time. Clearing the chat archive should fix the problem.

Clearing the Chat Log did not work.

Please be aware that SkyCaptain was referring to the chat archive which is cleared from the game page rather than within the VTT itself. A game's Creator is often able to fix issues with their Text Chat by clearing the Chat Archive (note: not clearing your current Chat Log ). A GM might want to copy/back up the Chat Archive before the Creator clears it.

If I clear the chat log and re-enter the game the chat log is exactly where it was frozen before...no longer cleared.

Without even exiting and re-entering...If I clear the chat log it looks like the chat log is empty...but when I type something into the chat the chat log shows back up right where it was frozen before...

Person who created the game is not available...they promoted me to GM and I do not see an option to clear chat archive in the settings drop down. Is this the only way to fix this problem?

Clearing the chat log on the settings tab inside the campaign is not going to fix the problem. It requires the creator / GM of the campaign to clear the chat archive instead. This requires the creator/GM to go into the game settings on the campaign page.

I am GM and I do not have access to clear the chat archive from game settings only API scripts and Leave Game.

You'll need the creator of the campaign to clear the chat archive then.
