B/X DnD Dungeon Crawl needs players

Just a note to let folks know that I am running a B/X Dungeon Crawl where Barely Above Average folks Explore Dangerous Places. I am looking for 1-2 more players, we have been playing since September, and my group consists of folks who have just gotten into playing D&D. So its also a beginner friendly game. We play Saturdays from 8am-12noon MST, using skype for voice, and Roll20 for tabletop. I have GMed since Junior High, with a break after college for about 10 years. Write here, or send me a PM if you are interested in playing. Drop in for a session or two to see if it is your cup of tea. d :D
Message me your skype I'm a new player but I played a few games in the past with some buddies of mine. I'm trying to get in on table top
Sounds like it's my cup of tea. I'm usually late to rise, but nothing a slap in my own face and an alarm clock can't fix. I've played versions of DnD, but it still might take me a little bit to get used to. I'm a frequent roleplayer, and I like gaming in general, but i don't use skype so don't have your heart on seeing my face. PM me if you would like me to join your campaign.
Is it like a adventure plot along with it or more over episodical where new thing everytme
From your description as I run Dungeon Crawls it is more episodic, though the episode could last a couple of sessions (or more). Also, I think at this point I have enough players. Thanks to those who have inquired and applied for the game. I will repost on this thread if more openings appear. d :D
A note to those who signed up, I left a message about attendance on the chat board of the campaign, please read it. In effect it says if you are not there on time (or within 5 minutes after 8, you will be booted from the campaign.) thanks d :D
I'm a first time player, had my first table top game 2 days ago. Id enjoy learning more of this game and creating chars. Thanks
very interested. I just started tabletopping. I have two characters currently level 1 and 2 respectively
Well, looks like all those who signed up, save for my current players are a no show. So I am open to players interested in playing Basic Dungeons and Dragons. Please note this game is for the Original Basic D&D (from the 1970s), you can pick up a PDF that will give you the concepts of the game here: http://goblinoidgames.com/docs/GBD1001_no_art.zip Also please read this document on Old School Gaming. It gives a very clear picture of what kind of game I tend to run, and that is run using BD&D. http://www.scribd.com/doc/14749369/Quick-Primer-for-Old-School-Gaming or here http://www.lulu.com/us/en/shop/matthew-finch/quick-primer-for-old-school-gaming/ebook/product-3159558.html ALSO, VERY IMPORTANT If people who sign up to play are not on time and ready to play, will be booted from the campaign. d :D
I'm new to Roll20 and it took me a while to find out I could search for games in this here newfangled community forum whatchamacallit. XD I would love to check out some 70s/80s era D&D.
Still looking for players? I'd be interested in taking a spot in your game. I'm an old-school fan and am looking to play some B/X I wouldn't be able to start this weekend, but would certainly have no problems getting started next Saturday morning
"YAR" to the OSR.
