Library Images From the internet help please

Okays so I see there is a function to search the internet for images now I have uploaded images giving them a silly name trying to find them so I can save a little space by storing them on the web but they don't show up in the search. Can anyone tell me how to put them on the web and in what format so that roll20 will find them when I search for them and even recommend an decent upload site. (Obviously the site recommendation Via PM that way no one gets into trouble). Help would be grateful will check your responses tomorrow when i get home thanks in advance. Also I do at some point plan to become a pro memeber but not working at the moment so can't afford it.
Ah well guess I need to free up a little room until I can upgrade account.

Pixelscapes said: As I understand it, your plan won't work. Even if they come up in search, when you go to use them, they get copied into your library... Thus taking up quota. See also: people who think just dragging an image into the interface doesn't take up quota. It does. Edited to add: see similar topic here, https://app.roll20.net/forum/post/3711519/using-linked-images-in-roll20-maps Images used from web searches DO NOT count towards your quota , see that wiki entry for information and also take a look at your account information where your storage use is listed it states: Storage Quota Your storage quota is the amount of art assets that you can upload. It doesn't include art that you use from built-in sets or from web searches, it only includes the space used by images you upload from your computer.
Ahah, well never mind that then! But isn't it still true that if you use the "Choose a File" button and put a URL in the "file to upload" field, it interprets it as a file to upload and does so?

That is likely the case yes, as choosing to upload a file, whether from your hard drive or via a url, is still 'uploading' the file information to your library. The advantage of doing that over just using the web image is that your library copy will not suddenly disappear if the source image were to be removed from the net.
