Time: Thursdays 530 PM PST This a long running game, and will continue for the forseeable future. The party is currently 2nd level(they started at 1st). We're using variants from Dragon Magazine and Unearthed Arcana. Most notably, DR as Armor(from UA), and the Parry variant(from Dragon). There are others besides. My homebrew style rather moderately follows that which is outlined in Unearthed Arcana, so generally speaking. I treat a class or race or what-have-you as a modifiable template, not a set in stone blueprint, like so many other less imaginative DMs. The group is at bare minimum age for their races. They're at a training facility, for training warriors. mostly the demon hunting kind. At the moment there are very small aspects of steampunk and spelljamer games. Like direct communication devices and airships, though not every airship is steampunk. Some are seafaring vessels that have been enchanted. 18+, this is a decision based on maturity, if you're under 18 and think you're more than mature enough, talk to me and we'll see about having you come on. New players are welcome, and I'm willing to help you build your character to the level of strength and flavor you want. However, I do expect you to read the WHOLE players handbook, not just the bits on the SRD, but I will give you a couple weeks to finish it. And I expect the same level of thoroughness when you're adding new aspects to your character build. The group currently has a mostly German folklore/Brothers Grimm kind of thing going on. Though you dont have to stick to that. As follows, we have: gish(cryoduelist, think Weiss), a huntsman(Rogue/scout), an anthropomorphic bat druid, a cleric/warlock(going Eldritch Theurge), a hellbred ubercharger, and a gnome swashbuckler. We will be using Skype for audio, no video. I'm personally on all the time, so you can always ask me a question, unless I'm asleep or driving. I'm disallowing the classes from Tome of Battle, the rest of the book is available. All non Eberron material must be cleared by me.
