Cannot move player tokens from one page to another page

i am having trouble selecting the player tokens in order to move them to a new page (new map).

In which layer do they have to be in order to select them for the move? Token layer or GM layer? I have tried both without success.

I also cannot select monster tokens that I have placed on a map in order to edit them.

Hi William. Any Tokens should be on whichever layer they were placed on or moved to. If your players are able (and have been able) to move and select their own tokens, they must be on the Token Layer. If they cannot be selected on the Token Layer (also means your players can't move them), the next most likely place to check is the Map Layer. If they are semi-transparent to you (the GM) and the players can't see them, they are on the GM Layer. Do you think you might have placed the tokens and monsters on the Map Layer? If that isn't it, take a look at these wiki pages, and the tokens still can't be selected then write back.

Note: If you want to move the Players to another Page (map), use the Player Ribbon in the Page Toolbar drop-down. This does not move the Tokens though, just the Players view.

i was able to move the player tokens to the Token layer and then copy paste them to another page.

Should I have used copy paste? I did not see a move option?

now the player tokens exist on two pages...

i was also able to select the monster tokens.

Copy-paste is a good way to move the tokens to another map page.

It's fine that they exist on 2 pages, alternatively you can delete them from the outgoing page.
