The tree

Zora looks over the tree and explains the tree to the people she has gathered. 'Dont get me wrong I am happy to see the tree again, it can quite possibly bring us what we need to battle the forces to the north.  We need to protect it though because it could just as easily be used against us if they kill it.  We should help since they are our children after all.' Vhoori, Oslo and Milly all agree. Oslo turns to the tower and walks towards it. 'I'll be right back, I need to talk with Elly a little bit.'

Emerald walks out from behind the tree, towards Zora, Milly and Vhoori.  'Did not think I would see this again for some time.'   Emerald hugs the tree  'Count me in Zora.'  The four old companions sit around the base of the tree talking of old times and laughing. Oslo walks up to the tower and is about to enter when he sees 4 tents have been setup about 600 yards away.   'Elly! Where are you?'

Elly pokes her head out if one of the upper tower windows and waves. "Coming Papa!". It takes a few minutes but she eventually comes outside to greet him with a hug, a playful Donut bounding along behind her. 

Zora, Milly, and Emerald start talking with each other as Vhoori excuses himself and walks around the tree. Vhoori spends a few moments to gather himself before he looks up at the tree and whispers, 'Eldrin? Are you there, brother.' Vhoori spends the next hour speaking with his half-brother and at long last burying the differences between them.  

Oslo hugs Elly tight.   'It is so great to see you Elly, he ruffles her hair a bit.  Look what I found.'  He says pulling some pink cotton candy out from his magic bag.  'Your brother is staying with Gorgo while I visit.'  (Gorgo is a rough and tumble dwarf Oslo used to adventure with until he lost his leg in a strange encounter with an undead giant badger.) 'I'm so happy I get the spend some more time with you, Peach.  Zora called several of us here to help with the tree.  What a wonderful sight, the Tree of Life is a grand thing, I do not share Zora's doom and gloom attitude.  The tree can bring so much good and life into this land and I am thrilled to see it.' 'What is with the tents outside?' Alec pipes up 'They are still there?  Sorry I will ask them to leave again.  Sorry Ma'am I have already tried to get them to move on three times now.'

((Rofl Gorgo is probably related to Oslo's old dwarf adventuring buddy three-legged Thorgrim who walks with a cane. They still have four legs altogether I guess :P)) Elly happily takes the cotton candy and begins sharing it with Donut, nodding about the tree. "Yes, I think it is rather lovely myself." Her eyes widen when she notices her mother by the tree and she starts to go over but stops when the tents are brought to her attention. "Do you know who they are and why they are here?" she asks Alec.

'Sorry Ma... Elly but they were hoping to meet you, I think they are fans.  I told them to go wait in Lerton and it seemed like they were going to but I guess they just moved a little.  I will go run them off again.  Sorry but I did give them a firm talking to last time.' From inside the tents you can hear laughter and music, Elly knows the music, they are playing her crystals in the tents and singing along. Oslo says to Elly, 'I think you may be having your first group of crazy fans, oh I remember my first group of crazy fans...'  He starts to fade off as he talks about the first time he found out that he was very attracted the half-elves and they he.... 'Oh but that is nothing you want to hear right now.

Elly looks excited at the idea of having fans of her very own. "No, Alec, don't. Come on Papa, let's go meet them!" She isn't even paying attention to Oslo's reminiscing as she grabs his hand and leads him over to the tents. 

Elly sees a teenage human female outside one of the tents as she approaches, she sees you and just stands there staring, unmoving almost mirroring AMI's look.   'Oh my like goodness you are like oh my like you are like Elly like you are like my idol like I am like your biggest fan like I have loved you like since the first like time I ever like heard your music like I love you like wow I cannot like believe you are like right here like that is like almost supernatural like.'  This was all said in one breath and can pouring out of her like the bursting of a dam.  

Elly's expression probably mirrors this girl's as her eyes and smile both get wider and wider.  "Hi!  Yes that's me!  What's your name?"

'Nina'. Then the young girl faints.

"Oops!"  Elly bends down and tries to gently shake her awake.  "Nina?  Nina are you okay?"

'You are Elly like wow did you like know you are like Elly?  Of course like you know that like wow I like love you Elly.  You are like my hero.'  She lunges forward and hugs Elly.

"Yes I did know that!"  She hugs Nina back, blushing and looks over at the tents and then over to Oslo questioningly to see if he approves of the situation.  "Are you here by yourself, Nina?"

Oslo gives Elly a smile. Nina looks at Elly, 'Oh no I am like here with like lots of your like best fans, you need to like meet them all like on my like this is great like wow it is such a like honor meeting you.' Shortly after Elly is swarmed by a group of about 12 teenagers who are just going nuts telling her all about herself.  They are all explaining how great she is and how much her songs have touched them.

Elly spends quite some time talking to them and after a while she asks Hilda to prepare a few snacks. She has a light picnic with her new fan friends and then offers to have some fun with the new rope swing and a swim in the lake. 

Much fun is had by all and they are all hanging on every word.  Nina gives Elly a song she wrote and asks if she would learn it some time and maybe perform it.

Absolutely!!  ((Assuming it's a song with lyrics and the lyrics are something she agrees with.  Otherwise, she would politely offer to help her with a few changes lol))

The song is actually very well written and the topic is about a young farm boy that grew up to love a princess but she never could love him back.  It ends up being a little bit of a tearjerker 

Elly asks Nina if she can bring it to Ynos to get his opinion.

Well I'm like no artist like you so like whatever you think like is best.

Elly hugs Nina again as well as all of her friends.  "Thank you for coming to see me today.  You made me feel better.  It was very nice to meet you all!"

Whoa Vhoori and Eldrin are half-brothers? I didn't expect that at all!

Lol yeah neither did I.  Also didn't realize Emerald was friends with Milly, Vhoori and Zora :P

Friends might be a stretch but they know when to enlist the other.
