Adding more standard playing cards

October 06 (11 years ago)
Hi, I am wanting to construct a new deck with 2 x the amount of standard playing cards. So instead of 54, it will have 108.

I start by duplicating the standard deck, but when it comes to adding more cards I cant seem to find the standard card faces (from the standard deck). Nor can I just drag them across to copy them. Do I have to find them in the library? If so, where are they exactly? Thanks for any help.

So its not possible to construct a deck of standard cards consisting of more than one deck? That seems....... strange.

Oh, it is quite possible if you have the images. Perhaps you can find images of a standard deck of cards and create your own deck. :)

It is just that the images for the existing deck are not in the library or marketplace. Perhaps you can post a suggestion that they be added to the marketplace.

Yes, I see how it could be done, very tedious but possible. Thanks for the quick replies anyway, you saved me quite a bit of time messing around thinking it must be possible and I'm just not getting it :)

When I imported my Munchkin deck it took me about 30 minutes to import my scanned in cards (there are 168cards) so it shouldn't take that long if you find scans.

Just finished the game and it worked ok with just 1 deck, but I'll look into creating some more for when I have more players. Thanks for the help.

Or you could save the existing images and re-upload them to your own library. ;-)

A quick google search should yield several sites with .svg image files of playing cards. Often these image files are the entire deck as one large image file, so I used Gimp's guillotine tool to cut them up into individual image files. Doesn't take much effort.

If you can't find a deck you like PM me your email address and I can send you what I have.

I now have my deck of "Two combined decks of standard playing cards" all done. It wasn't much of a hassle after all, thanks for all the help guys, I should be able to support many more players in my next game :)
