Goal : Improved text based communication in roll20 Summary : - Allow GMs to "drag" new chat panels on the board (like journal entries or tokens). - Allow these new "chat panels" to be saved in the "journal" tab, with the configuration. This way, players can easily open them and close them when needed and move them around, just like handouts and character sheets. - Each of the new panels can then be customized to filter specific types of messages and who they come from via a simple check box system. Example : - While setting up campaign, GM drags 2 new chat panels on the board, one named "GM" and another named "Rolls". Once created via this "dragging", they'll be stored, with their logs and options, in the journal tab. - In the GM chat panel, the GM only checks the box for himself and unchecks the box for "rolls". This means ONLY his chat (ooc, normal, em, etc) will go there but his rolls won't. - In the Roll chat panel, the GM checks the "roll" option and all players names including himself. This means ONLY die rolls will go there, for everyone. Die rolls are any non inline rolls since inline rolls are linked to which chat output they used (ooc, normal, etc) - In the Main chat panel left over, the GM unchecks "roll" as well as "GM" in the player list. This means all player chat will go there. Horrible image example :)
