OK so Gold to me to repost here. Obiediently doing as asked... ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Hi. I've got a few of the 2E hardcover books from the late 1980's still. A little musty, but I found 'em. Yeah that dates me, I'm an old fart. Course, most of you other 1 & 2E folks are 1980's kids, too - so mebbe I'm not THAT old for this group. Played 2E P&P as DM for years, I've participated in a few Roll20 campaigns as a player, I'll play whatever character the dice rolls grant me. I'm flexible and will RP anything, since that's really where the fun begins. A dumb, fat elven barbarian who's self-conscious about his ears? No problem . A guilt-ridden kobold mage who only really wanted to be a dentist? Sounds awesome. A deaf dwarf fallen ranger with a multiple personality disorder? Bring it on! I like Roll20 when you've got a DM who is responsive & talkative. In my opinion, voicecomms are a MUST in Roll20. I've got a headset & mic, Skype account, can easily do TeamSpeak or Google+ or whatever else. I can make graphics, too, if you need something drawn up for icons/maps/sprites. Made some Roll20 icons/sprites before, I think they worked out okay. No, I won't draw your character. Well, OK, maybe I would if the pay was great. Do I want to DM? Hrm. I don't think I have the time available to DM a full campaign, but could "pinch-hit" as a crappy DM if literally nobody else wanted to do it, or if the usual DM got hit by a bus. Maybe if I won the lottery, quit my job, sold my kids into indentured servitude and got divorced, THEN I might have time to DM. I recognize that being a DM is a LOT of work if you want to do it right, so I respect those that take the time to do a good job here on Roll20. At the same time I know myself well enough to realize that I couldn't afford the time commitment to do any campaign justice. What day of the week is good for you? Availability: I'm CST. GMT-5 or GMT-6 depending on daylight savings time, which is kind of an odd thing to keep track of if you don't live in North America or Europe. Weeknight start times after 8 PM are great, more flexible on weekends. I have to take it slow and stick to one Roll20 game at a time, weeknights and weekend nights are great. I guess that just makes nights, doesn't it? Yes, well, so... nights are great for me.
