I thought to toss up session summaries of my group here in the off-topic board to share the adventures and miss-adventures of the group. Session 1 summary The group spent the first day gathering supplies from washed up remains of their ship. The first night they slept under a crudely made tent only to be woken up by a prowling leopard that went to the beach to feast on the bodies of the dead men that washed up. The second day the group encountered natives and surrendered to them. That natives took them back to their campsite and sent off a runner. The second night the camp was attacked by giant centipedes which the group kill rather effectively with improvised weapons. One native was injured by the centipedes but Solomon was able to heal him which in turn made the natives start to worship him as a god. The next morning another group of natives showed up and the village witch-doctor was with them. She grew mad at Solomon but did not dare do anything for how the natives were in awe to him. They all traveled all day back to the actual village where the group met the village chieftain and a young boy that two of the group suspected to be not human or not pure human. The indicators pointed at him being an elf or elven blood, pointed ears, high check bones, sharp eyebrows but he looks to be a young child and profess to having lived over 70 years. The group is given a longhouse to live in as long as they are in the village.

Session 2 summary The group received a request from the Chieftain to go to a temple and leave a offering basket at their idol. The group hears some large felines have a fight or something during the night but encounters nothing else. Once at the temple the group starts to explore only to encounter 2 komodo dragons in the first few rooms explored. After a short battle where Solomon got bit by one, they were able to kill them. Tein and Turion performed sneak attacks but only one struck solid and caused massive damage on one of the komodo and Grimbrandt was able to bash the head in one the other komodo as it tried to flee. The group continues to explore the upper section of the temple section they were in and discovered a large colony of giant bats. Solomon chased most of the bats out with his torch and after they get a set of sealed doors they see a crank and chain which they played with until once they got it going in the right direction they heard the chain and bolts moving somewhere in the temple. While this is happening, Otiben saw the muck between the two structures shiver and stir but nothing else happened. They locked the crank and went down and across the causeway. While crossing they saw bones, rusted weapons, tarnished and broken armor scattered and partial buried along with wheels of chariots and what appears to be skeletons of horses and people. Signs of a battle that happened ages ago is the impression that the area seems to present. Inside the other struction is a large room with a creepy feeling that has a plain statue. Solomon tells everyone that the statue is evil and while one of the group moves up to examine the statue, a blob of ooze drops down and almost catches him. As Turion scuttles backward out of the oozy reach another one slurps out in to the open in pursuit. The entire group starts to back away while they are trying to figure out how to deal with these creatures. Solomon tries to drive them away with the divine ability of his faith but it doesn't seem to affect them but he does notice he affects the statue in an unusual way. One of the group lights and tries to toss an old flask of oil but it slipped out of his hand and bounces down the corridor. Another one rushes to scoop up the fractured flask to lob it between the oozes where it shatters and splatters burning oil on the two oozes. While the fight is happening, the muck outside the structure is stirring and appears that things are starting to pull themselves out of the muck. -----Combat paused and will start at the top of the next round.----

Session 3 summary The group continues retreating while Otiben casts arcane bolt after arcane bolt at the oozes. Tein runs around in the entrance hall empting the braizers of melted lumps of metal. Turion and Grimbrandt stayed at the door leading out onto the causeway as the rest of the group slowly retreated. Solomon repeatedly tried to turn the undead but nothing happened other than the ground would quiver. Otiben casts an arcane bolt while hiding behind solomon and grimbrandt but he misses his target of an ooze. This bolt streaks across the causeway and into the temple to strike an idol which reveals a demonic presence. The ground erupts shortly there after with skeletons. Solomon attempts to turn them away only to fail yet again and they start attacking solomon. Grimbrandt takes one out with a single hit of a club while two skeletons attack one of the oozes. Another skeleton attacks Solomon but he is able to chase it away with the divine power of deity. The group discovers how flammable the oozes are and lights one on fire to kill it. The other ooze that is being attacked by the skeletons, destroyed those skeletons but suffers massive damage. It retreats to supposed safety of the inner temple where the statue is at, only to die when Tein accidently sets himself on fire then in a spur of a moment throws himself on the ooze. Tein burns the ooze to death while suffering damage from the fire and the ooze's acid. Grimbrandt drags the flaming halfling off the ooze and throws him out into the muck to dowse the fire. Solomon stabilizes Tein then goes into to the temple in an attempt to face the demonic presence only to have his Holy symbol ignite and the statue laugh at him. The group quickly gathers the wounded and flees the temple to return back to the village where they rest for the night. The next morning some of the group decide on some childish antics involving the burnt halfling, two dead komodo dragons and improper positions. The group attempts to talk with the chieftain and the witchdoctor but with no Leaf, it didn't get far. The witchdoctor goes into the groups house and shuts the door but Solomon kicks the door in only to witness the witchdoctor straddling the halflings waist while shaking her fetishes of bones and feathers in one hand while shaking her bone rattle in the other. Solomon knocks her backwards somewhat before he performs a healing hands on the halfling. The first thing Tein sees is the witchdoctor straddling him and a dead komodo dragon over his head. Few days later Leaf shows up and the group is asked to go cleanse the temple but to do so requires them to take the witchdoctor with them.

Session 4 - 11/10/2013 The group travels back to the temple but brings along the witchdoctor. They see one of the reasons why the villagers don't go out into the lake. Once they reach the temple the witchdoctor starts to perform purification rituals to clean the temple but was attacked an ooze that dropped down on the witchdoctor from the ceiling and it started to devore her. Oil got splashed on it and the witchdoctor but with her holding a lit torch and flailing about she set herself on fire. The group soon discovered a demon inhabiting a statue and one of the group forces it out of the statue through the use of divine prayer. With the demon now physically there, the group begins to attack but most of their attacks are useless until Solomon turns the worship room in to a hallowed hall which allows the group to start inflicting serious damage on the demon. The demon was able to inflict damage on several characters but only one got infected by the touch. Turion's wound started festering and rotting within moments of it being inflicted. Solomon struck the demon the final blow and sent it away (or so it seemed) only to discover Turion's problem. Once they stabilized him and got everyone living back in the boat the group made haste to the village. The group will arrive after night fall back in the village.
