Notification popup empty

I believe this is a duplicate of <a href="https://app.roll20.net/forum/post/2676125/" rel="nofollow">https://app.roll20.net/forum/post/2676125/</a> which unfortunately was closed without resolution. To make things short: there's a pink envelope with a notification count of 1 but the notification list is empty. That is a glitch that appears if you use your page back function of the browser. It normally goes away with a page refresh or a new page.

Unfortunately that is not the case. I can trigger a refresh, empty the browser cache, use different browsers: the problem persists.

What happens when you click the "Dismiss All Messages" button?&nbsp;

After clicking "Dismiss All", the "unread" messages icon is clear again. If I should hazard a guess I'd say some counter cache got confused along the way :)

I've seen things similar to this happening, but haven't had time to fix it. Mostly because of how easy it is to work around. I think it has to do, like you said, with the counter not being adjusted correctly somewhere. So, the counter says you have a message, but when it goes to list "all of the messages you have" it's an empty list. This has popped up enough that I will definitely try to take a look at it next time I'm doing some bug squashing.&nbsp;
