Heroic Maps and Roll 20

Hi there I recently purchased some Heroic Maps Kits for making a 40K Deathwatch Roleplay game and have been struggling to get the maps to fit exactly right within the grid squares. This has meant that that tokens look like they are on several tiles at once rather than just the one. I have resorted to using Microsoft Word to help but it still doesn't fit 100% right. Has anyone else used Heroic Maps before and knows the best configuration of the images onto roll 20's grid squares? Thanks and GG SamRichardsNo1

Have you tried the instructions here: https://wiki.roll20.net/Aligning_Maps

Additionally, if you know the size of the map in grids (one I looked at was 20x30), you can right click the image and set the dimensions directly: https://wiki.roll20.net/Manipulating_Graphics#Set_...
It's not perfect but so far it seems to have worked rather well thankyou @TheAaron :)

Sweet. Just curious, which method did you end up using? Also, what makes it imperfect? (Wondering if we can improve the instructions or it's a flaw in the map, etc)
I used the aligning maps method and it worked to extent. The problem is most likely with the maps themselves rather than the instructions, I think they are more designed for printouts and map making that way rather than using software. Heroic Maps are good for quality but trying to transition them into Roll20 seems a lot more of a bother than a simple drag in and create your maps with ease.

The problem I notice a lot with converting maps to roll20 is that the roll20 grid lines are only a pixel or so across, but most lines on PDF maps or what not are 2-3+ pixels, making it impossible to ever truly line them up across the map.

Ok. Sometimes you can figure out the perfect size to set maps using something like The GIMP. I've loaded maps that had a grid and border that wasn't a full tile in width using it, then added enough spacing to make it an even number of units.
I have tried to transition Heroic Maps to Roll20 as well. In interacting with the artist, the maps are designed for print out and miniature play, therefore they always have about a 30 or so pixel outer edge that you need to eliminate prior to resizing. So essentially crop off that edge, then tinker to find the right size and they will align well enough. While I really do like their art style and quality, the amount of effort required to get the maps aligned properly to Roll20 simply didn't feel "worth it" unless I needed something very specific that they provided.

(I smell a scripting opportunity here.. =D )
