[LFP][DnD 5e] Valadhim-Homebrew Adventure Setting-Saturdays or Sundays 12pm-??? :D-New and experienced guys/girls welcome!

Will be doing some sort of interview process so please keep that in mind! Hey there folks! Starting a fresh nightly campaign in a very fun and cool setting and looking for six new adventurers to tag along! I do have a few requirements that should be met: - Must be 20+ years old, this will have mature settings and events, gotta make sure you're gonna be mature too - Have a microphone (and know how to use push to talk) and use Discord - Have a good character awareness and understand group dynamic - Be able to separate your character from your player, be able to work with everyone else, and realize that it's meant to be fun! - It's all about the roleplay! Flavor is what counts over powergaming! - Be able to crack jokes and take 'em like a champ - Be able to make the schedule (whatever it ends up being, and don't worry, it'll be tailored for you guys before me) What's preferred for my search is an even mix of guys and girls, avid roleplayers who are quick thinkers and are there for the immersion and most importantly THE FUN!!! If this is something that interests you leave a post! EXAMPLE: Name:xxx Age:xxx Time zone:xxx About me:xxx D&D/other game exp:xxx Add anything else at the bottom if you feel its mention worthy. Have a good one!
Name: Nick Age: 26 Time Zone: EST About me: I'm a pretty laid back person, who enjoys joking and laughing as much as I can, while still keeping on track in game. Love to try and get into my character's mindset with how he may go about situations differently than I would.  D&D/other game exp: I actually only got into D&D about a year ago, but since then have played quite a bit of it whenever I've gotten the chance. About 1000 hours of D&D game time on Roll20. Just wanted to say thank you for taking the time to read through this and any consideration given.

Name: Elias Age: 19 turning 20 in a month Time zone: Gmt +2 About me: So as mentioned above my names Elias and im 19 years old (turning 20 in october), ive been into d&d for quite a while as i started watching shows a bit over a year ago but it was only around 6 months ago that i started playing. Im pretty laid back and i enjoy a mix of rp and combat when it comes to gameplay, character wise i tend to lean more towards melee classes as i enjoy being in the midst of the battle, i also enjoy playing comedic characters tho i dont let it get in the way of serious moments. D&D/other game exp: ive only played 5e and i know everything i need to know as a player and as a dm so i wont need any hand holding, 1 month after i started playing d&d i started to dm and atm im working on my own big campaign tho ive got writers block atm. Sundays and saturdays could work for me tho id need to know what time the game would start for me, im guessing the dm is american based and from previous experience american games tend to be played during the middle of the night my time. so yeah the dms timezone would be nice. Other than that if youve got any other questions hit me up. SIDENOTE: if it matters whatsoever, theres a story to my profile pic and im not actually communist, just a joke :P
Name: Ryan Age: 23 Time zone: EST About me: I have played a wide variety of characters in the past, though I usually enjoy taking the role of more a morally ambiguous adventurer that finds creative and unconventional solutions to problems. I am a lapsed player after doing it weekly a few years ago and would like to get back into RPing my way out of a demon's clutches again. D&D/other game exp: I have played several campaigns in 3.5E and 4E, though I have less experience with 5E. I should pick up the changes fairly quickly though. Other stuff: Sundays might be better than Saturdays for me on average, but I should be flexible on the time

Name:Eddy Age: 21 Time zone: GMT+1 About me: I really love roleplaying and I'm very enthusiastic to play D&D! I have been playing for the past few months on Saturdays and Fridays in two different games. I've kept pretty simple characters while I grasp things and I've been expanding onto other things and just making characters for fun and making ideas all the time on better characters to roleplay. D&D/other game exp: Like I said, playing D&D for a few months but only 5e. I used to roleplay on games you couldn't RP on due to a lack of good RP games (like Halo 3 or Command and Conqueror).  Add anything else at the bottom if you feel its mention worthy. Have a good one! I just need to know what timezone we are playing and either day should be great but I would prefer sunday more but again perfectly suitable for a saturday.
Name:  Cap (but responds to "hey you") Age:  26 Time zone:  EST About me:  I'm a dork, as judged by my screen name and avatar.  I've been really itching to get into some RP since my last groups sadly fell through.  D&D/other game exp:  A little.  I've had a Pathfinder campaign that only lasted 2 sessions cause the DM quit.  I then picked up that game, changed it to 5E, and then tried to run it for my friends.  Sadly, that only lasted 5 sessions since people missed many sessions then I got busy.  I've also DM'd a short Dungeon World Campaign.  So I'm very much looking forward to be a PC again.
Name: Ryan Age:21 Time zone:UTC/GMT+1 (UK) About me: I'm a patience, kind, confident guy that feels comfortable around most people and can quickly fall into any group that i'm introduced to. I'm a lover of watching other characters and players evolve as their own and shared stories grow and mature also a believer that when it is a characters and players own story that the others should fall back and let the other person shine. I can also very easily separate the character from me and that things said and done in the game do not correspond to me and therefore won't take offence personally. Very prompted and will inform the group that if i'm able to make the game that week or the game needs to have the time or day change but that is very rare that i'm not free. Admirer of combat within D&D therefore admit that with out mixed combat within the story that it can become boring and stale.  D&D/other game exp: Semi experienced 5e player that hasn't played any other D&D versions or any other RP tabletop games. I'm very familiar with the rules of 5e but don't have alot of experience with using Roll20. Have DM'ed in the past for friends (they ended up murderhoboing and not looking for a campaign or players that is based around pure loot collecting)  understand that i can't also come to the DM over every little thing as it can be a full time job running a campaign sometimes and letting go of things to make the game run smoother for the DM and players is vital. Other stuff: I am free every weekend (from a Friday evening to Sunday afternoon) and will be able to change a session to in the week if a player is not able to make it that weekend. And i have a few question like Will we be rolling for stats and starting at lvl 1 ? Will the first session be session 0 for character development and background creation ?
Name: Ben Age: 25 Time zone: EDT About me: Well I'm in school and working part time, but I still haven't set anything on my weekends, including friday, so they're 100% open for now to set something.  And when I tell someone I'm gonna be at a certain place at a certain time, I WILL be there.  I also like to write, little fantasy short stories, so my character backstories end up being quite extensive, but only for myself.  If my character wouldn't go around telling everyone of their past, then the party won't hear any of it (unless prompted in what ever way that specific character might be prompted to lol).  I just really like writing and creating little stories, so it's all for my own enjoyment :) D&D/other game exp: Been playing DnD5e for some time now, over half a year, but have not gotten the chance to play on Roll20 yet, so really excited to give it a shot!  I really enjoy the roleplaying parts of the games, but I do also like a good and challenging combat sequence as well.  I'm not the kind of guy who gets upset or annoyed if my character goes down or takes multiple crits, that's all just part of combat!
Did this die :P?
Name: Bill Age: 28 Time zone: CST, weekends are currently free for the next few months at least. About me: I'm a calm and patient player who tries to work with most any group. I can't do evil characters, but I don't go trying to kill other players. I'm not always the best at fluid roleplay simply because i can find myself at a loss for words, but i can adapt quickly to changing circumstances and fill any group role. While i can separate myself from my character, I have a hard time playing characters that differ drastically from my own personality. I won't take anything said against my character personally though. I'm also fine with jokes about most anything, be they crude or dark, outside of straight up racism, sexism, etc. D&D/other game exp: I have played through horde of the dragon queen and am working on the rise of tiamat, and have played a number of shorter homebrew games. I played pathfinder for a while but have tired of the overflow of rules, spells, balance issues, and knee jerk reactions to balance issues. I don't normally powergame, i try to play a concept and go with it, but if what i make snowballs somehow (yet to happen in 5e) im willing to work out a compromise. As far as other stuff goes, I have a bachelor's in criminal justice and social sciences, and it shows in my gameplay, hence the good side only but trying not to be a jerk about it.

Name: MaverickOrig (Real name will be shared in private) Age: 35 Time zone: EST About me: Programmer. When I get passionate about a game system, I dig in many hours to get as much of the system- clutter out of the way (via scripting, lists, handouts, reference guides) so that as little of game time is spent on looking stuff up. So, I've already spent a few dozen hours creating a character and the roll20 macros that will make it easy to play. And a few handful of macros that work with any character and a few for the GM (if they so choose to use). D&D/other game exp: Ooh boy... Started D&D at the tender age of 6? Yeah, no really. Blame my dad. I've played D&D Adv edition as a child. Moved on to 2nd Edition, then 3.5 and some 4th edition. All of my pen&paper games might have amounted to 40-50 sessions (not that many). BUT! There's this video game called Neverwinter Nights that is based on 3.5 and came out in 2002. I put in a few thousand hours into a RP persistent world called Narfell (that still runs to this day like 14 years later) Yes, there is quite a bit of combat, but the reward systems are based on RP. Play style: Very much a careful/suspicious tactician, but usually follow another leader when in the zone. Character type prepared: Tanky Dex based cleric Guard/support (based on the sentinel feat)
