Are you tired of games where everyone wants to play some kind of "special snowflake" race and class combo? Find the idea of trying to seduce the ancient black dragon your party has run afoul of ridiculous? Unhappy with groupmates who seem to have created their characters just to be a thorn in the side of the rest of you? Just looking for a bit of logic and sensibility in your game? As a GM I answered every one of those questions with a yes. I've been frustrated again and again by those sort of situations after building a logical and realistic world and am hoping to put it in the past by looking to recruit a slightly different type of player this time. I'm looking for older (30+) players who like their fantasy dark and gritty with enemies and villains who have real reasons for their plots and incursions, who don't feel the need to have a character that overshadows their groupmates, who understand that actions taken now may have consequences tomorrow, next week or even a year from now.
