[5e OGL] Green Flame Blade

Hello there! Sorry if this has been answered previously. I haven't been able to find a solution yet. I'm trying to create an attack within the character sheet to act as GFB. The secondary damage can work for the second target if need be, but so far, using macros and abilities, I haven't been able to come up with a solution. I'm sure I'm missing some obviously easy solution, but no luck yet! Is anyone able to provide a solution? I don't, and probably will not, have access to the API, so API solutions are out for me sadly. Thanks in advance for any help you can provide!

I've got a few ideas: Put it in the description field of the attack add it in as a save effect. You can customize what actually gets output in the save area of the template through some fancyish template magic in the saving throw description field. similarly, you could customize the output of the damage field to show both damages with similar template magic in the damage type field, although the limited space may make this look a little ugly. make an attack (but with only the damage section activated) just for the leaping flame damage and link to it from the description field of the actual spell with an  ability command button . You could then click on the button to trigger the leaping flame damage on a hit. I'd recommend using the sheet option to not auto-roll damage in this case as the template that is used for the attack when not auto-rolling damage does some nice formatting of ability/API command buttons. The fancyish template magic is this: roll templates only output the last input for a given field, so if you have {{damage1=1d8}} followed by {{damage1=1d8 & 1d8 to adjacent}} the final chat output will have 1d8 & 1d8 to adjacent in the damage1 field instead of 1d8. You can take advantage of this by prematurely ending the input of certain fields on the sheet by typing }} followed by whatever fields you want to override as long as the field you are entering into sends it's contents to a later field in the template. Check out the details on the OGL templates  here . Hope that helps, and let me know if you need further information, Scott
Appreciate the input! I'll test a few of your ideas as soon as I can jump in the game safely (I'm at work) and get back to you.
Pulled my laptop on break, tested idea 4. I used the info you found on the templates in another post to create an ability command button that outputs just the DMG template for the leaping fire damage. Looks good and works perfect! I appreciate your help good sir.
