Combat In Three Dimensions

Is there currently a way, or a possibility in the future, of having the virtual tabletop handle ranges in three dimensions? I love the ruler tool's ability to give me precise distances between points, but as a GM for Hero System I find I deal with the height of various flying characters a LOT and, as fun as Pythagorean theorem is, I'd really rather not have to calculate it by hand every time two flying superheroes decide to hurl fireballs at each other. If there was just some switch on the map somewhere, or even just a right-click option on the ruler itself (I see no advanced options on that super useful tool, HINT), that I could specify the height values of two objects and get the 3D range calculated on the map itself without me having to do hypotenuse numbers off-screen it would be amazingly awesome!
A simple "Height" stat would more than suffice for this. Also, calculating it? Get on my level and make a small Excel sheet.
