Tutorial Issues

Hello, ive found the help dialogue box in the tutorial vanishes frequently making me unable to continue with that specific tutorial topic, notably in the pages section after creating a new page and selecting the current pages settings wheel, i have no further prompts. im using windows 10 with the latest version of chrome

Hi Warren, thanks for the report. The tutorial is on the team's (probably quite long) list of things to address as there are a number of issues relating to the dialogue boxes. Many users have found that by repeating the sections that failed one time they are able to complete the tutorial. Please continue to report any issues for their reference though. I had similar issues when I went through the tutorial after joining. Trial and error generally found that I was following the steps incorrectly, or skipping something in a way that the tutorial would end (I'm not sure the tutorial ending is a great thing if this is intended...).  Try going back through and insuring you do exactly what it says, and don't skip to the next logical step, as sometimes simply not having something selected when you should have seems to cause the prompts to stop appearing.

I was able to complete it by skipping to the next section on the list, but missed out on a bit of the info. I went back to follow the steps again and the dialogue box would still disappear even after following the steps listed in the last box

The  wiki contains all the information you'll need to fill those gaps until the tutorial is 100% working again, if in doubt also feel free to search/ask on the forums to learn whatever it is that the tutorial cheated you out of :)
