So I'm a mid-range DM starting up a new campaign with 2 friends of mine and we're looking for 2 to 3 more players (some knowledge would be preferable to avoid having to take days to explain all the mechanics) but you don't have to be experienced to play by any means. We're continuing on with our lvl 6 characters (so that's where your character would start) in a horror-themed campaign. We'd be playing every Tue/Thurs from 8pm to 10pm CENTRAL. We're looking to start the campaign Tuesday, October the 22nd if we can get everyone situated by then. I plan on running this campaign for several weeks, so we'd prefer someone with an open schedule on those nights for the next few months. We use Ventrillo to communicate. We can get you set up if you don't have it (it's free and we have a server). This isn't a setting-specific campaign, so there's considerable leeway with regard to character creation. Emphasis will lean heavily toward RP (seeing as this is a horror campaign) but, due to 4Es configuration, there will still be loads of encounters to test your combat prowess. We're not requiring any specific archetypes with regard to characters, but we'd prefer to have a healer and a leader if anyone wanted to play either of those. Both myself (the DM) and the previous DM (will be playing) have enough knowledge between the two of us to really get into some trouble, so this won't be a cookie-cutter cake-walk campaign. I take the scheduling of the game pretty seriously (fed up with flaky players "forgetting" about game times conveniently moments beforehand) but I take the game itself pretty ridiculously. We're all here to have fun and know full well this is simply a game. An open mind as well as thick skin are the only requirements needed to play at our table.
