Background: After the fall of the Warforged in a massive internal battle you are one of the surviving members who, heavily damaged, makes his/her way into the open world. (Race) Warforged (AU): As a warforged, you have the following racial traits. Ability Score Increase. Your Strength and Constitution scores increase by 1. Size. Your construction incorporates wood and metal, granting you a natural +1 bonus to Armor Class. Living Construct. Even though you were constructed, you are a living creature. You are immune to disease. You do not need to eat or breathe, but you can ingest food and drink if you wish. Instead of sleeping, you enter an inactive state for 4 hours each day. You do not dream in this state; you are fully aware of your surroundings and notice approaching enemies and other events as normal. Languages. You can speak, read, and write Common and one other language of your choice (Subtype) Warforged Survivor: As a warforged, you have the following racial traits. Ability Score Increase +1 Str Survivor Feature: As a Warforged survive you use found/bought/stolen armor to upgrade the AC of their own body rather than wear armor like other characters would. The same works for weapons and their fists, although in this instance all weapon traits such as finesse and versatile are lost. A one handed weapon is used to upgrade one fist, a two handed weapon is used to upgrade both fists. This also works for ranged weapons in which case you have to reload ammunition into your arm by using some kind of mechanism. Every time you upgrade a previously upgraded part you lose the old upgrade of said part. (May be paired with appearance changes and Warforged may still wear clothing.). The process of upgrading can be unique to your character and/or feature processes such as welding and soldering. Proficiency: All simple and martial weapons as long as they are upgraded into your body. All Heavy Armor as long as it is upgraded into your body. Language: You lose the ability to gain one other language of your choice and may only speak common, or no language at all save for some vaguely remembered words; due to software damage you sustained in the past war of the Warforged. ------------------------------------------- Modified Sorceror –Warcaster- (Warforged Survivor): Spellcasting: Cantrips, start with firebolt, Gain one whenever sorcerer gains one (Look at homebrew or expansions for additional usable cantrips.) Font of magic: Sorcery points. Sorcerer Flexible casting. Sorcerer Metamagic: Empowered spell Distant spel Carefull spell Quickened spell Twinned spell Recharge: At level 20, and once per long rest, as a bonus action you regain 1d8+Charisma modifier worth of spell slots ------------------------------------------- Artillery Class (Warcaster Archetype exclusive to Warforged.): Energy Convertor: After subconscious activation when you reach level 4, whenever you use an Artillery Class spell Radiant is added to the damage type unless it’s already included in some way, shape or form.
