Following the path of Margrave Horukh the Kemitic Priest who has gone-deeper to clear away the Undead on lower floors ahead of you. I'm sorry I've been gone the past few weeks, I have been feeling kinda shitty but I will be there this next game, 

I is at home, successfully operated on and now traveling the LONG road to recovery. i will see you all in 15ish hours, looking forward to smiting in the name of Thor, after impressing not only my followers so effectively, but also hoping to have shown Portlandio has 1 more stout warrior to call to its aid in times of trouble/need :D

The water priestess was one of the most liked figures in all of Portlandio. You are now hated by EVERYONE.

Understood, B. DM is feeling sick today too. I will still run the game but on reduced DM-ness. I feel like I ate the Pan Lung Dragon Steak BBQ and made Portlandio muddy again.

What I have in mind is rolling-out some magic items for-sale from the Wondrous shop, and checking Airen's latest "Chance To Learn" spells, and possibly setting up some pre-rolled monster tokens for your Monster Summoning spells if you plan to try casting that, so we'll be more prepared when you cast it. I saw you were rolling up stats for a potential henchman or 2nd PC. We can work on that today as well.

hey Gold, i didn't quite think through through possible consequences to Swargen, Portlandio, or the party when i took Swargen, Grubar, and Sizi on that "holy war". In hindsight it was about the dumbest thing i could have possibly done. On that note, i would feel best if the took up a personal running o the Naughty Nymph and a position as guardians of Portlandio itself....... On that note, i have stats rolled up for a general mage, possibly a kit but i doubt that part. If we could get together before game time Tuesday, he/she could be a patron at the Inn awaiting an "audition" with the Company. i have thought long and hard on this stupidity and its the only way as a player i can see keeping my friends from slaughter in unholy retribution.

It's a simple case of Swargen being over zealous. Umberlee ain't called the "Bitch Queen" without a reason. She and her followers are very chaotic. In truth I'm glad their gone. The only reason Torvald and Baradin didn't get involved is because "now" isn't the time for a holy war.  Besides you ain't being a real adventurer or hero unless you piss some deity off...

Gold, SO... things at work have reached cluster f*ck proportions. At this point, it looks like I will be out another session until things are resolved.  I'm pretty pissed about it because it was a fixable problem. I will keep you posted. Brendan

Understood, Solid , thanks for keeping the group posted of your status. The party needs your characters' firepower, bravery and fear removal for sure. They are trying to make their way deeper in the puzzles, traps, and guardian monsters of Tower Descent. Getting into the week of Halloween won't be any easier without our Dwarf and Cavalier. They already saw 4 wraiths in a room, Fire elemental guarding the next stairway down, and Air elemental trying to over-inflate the frog man ( Airen ). Thanks for the heads up lex . Also thanks for moving your latest Journal into the October journal thread that I started. SolidHybrid is on-leave today (work schedule), coming back for November games. WickedWayz will miss the session today, or part of it (PT). Baart / Gregor , I want to let you know that I've set up a special Roleplaying / Character area for today's game (it is the spiral staircase stairwell where Nell currently is hiding), responding to some of Gregor's feedback from last week's session. Hope everyone takes advantage of this emphasis on 1/3 RP for today's game plan. There is also a place to bring-in a new PC, Jacob(Andy) into the game party. For today -- I've thrown new twists into the current level of Tower Descent with the 4 wraiths (I gave them each a nickname and a True Name which can be used to defeat/disable them), and there is a new Halloween trick-or-treat-or-trap involving the Fire Elemental wing of this level. Both of these changes could allow you to solve this level without necessarily fighting every monster directly, but only if the players try different solutions and manage to figure out the puzzle of it all. This paragraph contains minor clues for those who are reading.
